Not at all. You only need expertise in your industry and the ability to speak to what you know. We provide simple recording guidance and tools. No production experience needed, no scripts, no prep work. Just you and your perspective.
As much or as little as you want. Most Expert Q&A responses take 10 to 15 minutes to record. You choose which questions to accept and when to respond. There is no fixed schedule and no minimum commitment.
It depends on the format. Expert Q&A responses are typically under 90 seconds. Topic Deep Dives run 2 to 3 minutes. Skill Modules 4 to 8 minutes. Longer formats like Live Expert Sessions and Expert Panels are scheduled in advance and entirely optional. You select the formats you are comfortable with when you register.
When you create your profile, you tell us your industry, areas of expertise, and the formats you prefer. Our team matches incoming questions to experts based on that profile. You receive a notification and can accept or decline each opportunity.
Yes. GoImpart compensates experts for their time on a per-response basis. Rates vary by format and are shared with you during onboarding. Many of our experts also choose to contribute occasional responses as a Gift of Knowledge to support learners at underserved institutions. You are always in control of which opportunities you accept and whether to waive your fee.
Questions come from college students, university instructors, business teams, trade organization members, and working professionals across every industry. Every question is reviewed and approved before it reaches you. You will never receive anything off-topic or inappropriate for your expertise.
No. A smartphone or laptop camera is all you need. We provide recording guidance and simple tools through the platform. If you have a quiet space and decent lighting, you are ready to go.
